Journey with us
Journeys explore the ancient practice of Christian pilgrimage, encouraging participants to lean into a mindset of expectant seeking, embodied movement toward God, and engagement with spaces that have been considered sacred destinations by Christian pilgrims for several hundred years.
Journeys are an opportunity to pay attention to story: Listen to God’s story in scripture, learn from the stories of earlier Chrisitan communities, reflect on how God has been present in your own life, and discern what it looks like to faithfully step forward into the next chapter of your unfolding story.
This is all done in the context of a community of fellow pilgrims, with days framed by rhythms of prayer and guided reflection.Journeys are not only a unique space for spiritual formation and sacred travel, they can also serve as a unique opportunity to cultivate relationships with ministry partners as you invite them to participate with you. Ministry partners have a chance to experience their own spiritual formation, spend deep time with you, and interact with InterVarsity students whom the Staff/Partner Journeys sponsor.
