  • Contact spring returnees for brief check-in and invitation to upcoming debrief
  • Host debrief for spring returnees

  • Find out date of fall campus study abroad fair

September

Prepare
  • Give announcement at large group (timed with campus study abroad fair) and provide sign-up sheet for discernment and prayer in near future
  • Have discernment conversations and prayer times with prospective study abroaders
  • Check in with students applying to spring InterVarsity Semester Programs

  • Coach spring returnees to have discernment conversations using Study Abroad Pocket Proxe and pray with prospective study abroaders
Engage
  • Have spring returnees and other previous study abroaders host campus-wide event for all returnees and offer prayer afterward for anyone having difficulty re-entering US culture

October

Prepare
  • Give short study-abroad announcement during fall conference and host an interest table at a meal
  • Spring Semester Programs applications due Oct 15
  • Global Leaders Internship applications due Nov 1

  • Follow up with fall study abroaders who have not yet registered for or invited a non-Christian friend to Journey
