Practicum is a four-week placement designed to give students the opportunity to live and work in a cross-cultural environment, and to contribute meaningfully to real world needs through service-learning in community.
Practicum is often described as the hardest and best part of our semester programs because students encounter the unexpected and learn to rely on God for needs beyond themselves.
After arriving in Rwanda or Thailand, students apply for available practicum positions. Students are assigned roles based on fit and placed in smaller groups with partner organizations who serve as hosts and supervisors.
Previous practicum placements have focused on:
- Education & Children
