Key Components

4-5 WALKS: Connect with God

In the 12-day version, you ultimately choose when you'll do each of the 5 walks. However, the itinerary recommends spending two days on each of the 5 themes, thus doing one of the walks at a pace of about every other day.

Arising directly from the Camino de Santiago in Spain, our themes are:

  • Walk 1: Simplicity
  • Walk 2: Presence
  • Walk 3: Hospitality & Gratitude
  • Walk 4: Perseverance
  • Walk 5: A Way of Life

Each audio-guided walk explores a Camino theme using a psalm, poem, scripture reflection, and prayer, plus a video blessing and a companion PDF journal for deeper reflection.

DEBRIEF GROUPS: Process the Experience

Gather into small groups (in whatever way makes sense for your context) after each walk to interpret what God showed you and discern what he is inviting you to do next.

GROUP EVENTS: Grow as a Community

Gather the entire group together online to connect around some of the gifts of communal life found along the Camino in Spain: meals, games, coffee breaks, deep discussion.

  • Special events likely to include:
  • Exploring Pilgrimage as Spiritual Practice
  • Camino-themed Movie Watch Party & Discussion
  • Albergue Lounge
  • Eco-Discipleship
  • The Spirituality of Wine
  • Developing a Rule of Life
  • Cooking Spanish Food

SOCIAL SHARING: Be Part of Something Bigger

Use your group's existing social media to share pictures, reflections, and words from God. You might consider gathering everyone into a special Facebook group just for this event.

FLEXIBILITY: Connect with God

The Digital Camino gives your group the flexibility to adapt the schedule and create additional content that meets its needs. This might include:

  • Additional scripture engagement
  • Camino-themed events, e.g. film discussion, Spanish worship, book discussion, paella cooking class
  • Group devotional or prayer time
  • Call to faith & action
